The end-game Obama ad

with 7 comments

Well, it’s getting close.  This is described as the end-game Obama ad.  It’s decent, policy-oriented, hopeful, and factual.  No put-downs, no hyperbole.

I like it.

  1. So it and while it was very slick, I liked it.

  3. Yes, thanks, Ray – now it appears that the McCain campaign itself may have pushed the story without vetting it, and is blaming it on the media.

  4. Good comment, Sharon. I think it will take a massive show of support from ordinary people to resist the incredible pressure that the hugely powerful will use to try to stop him. The vote is just the starting line: not the arrival of happy days, but the beginning of a battle for the essence of America. Will we be a corporatocracy? Or a true republican democracy? Many vested interest will spend millions to prevent the latter.

  5. Hi M,
If, as president, O’bama actually does the things he has outlined in that clip, we will find ourselves unhappy with him. I wonder if he has the courage to stick with it, in the face of the opposition he will stimulate.

  6. wow…perfect

i think he’s finally found the right balance between the high rhetoric of hope and down-to-earth policy. like gianna, i hope this is the voice he uses for the remainder of the campaign.

p.s. Monte, did you hear about that McCain campaign worker who was charged with filing a false police report about being attacked by an Obama supporter?

Hope he sticks with the positive message and no mention of McCain…that was especially cool!!
