Call to worship for November 12

A call to worship for the Revised Common Lectionary’s Year B Proper 27, by Georgann Haeffner:

Good morning, people of the Lord.

We are gathered together to give Him praise today.
We have a God who cares about us and all the details
of our lives. Let’s praise Him, people!

Our God wants to work with you to build your life.
Our God wants to work with you to protect that life!
Our God wants to set you free from too much working
and too much anxiety.
Our God wants to give rest to His loved ones – to you.

Come to Him this morning. Find rest in Him and praise
His holy name!
