And whom do you know in those states?  Imagine they’re all gone; you might feel just a feather’s-weight of the heavy  heart of the man, woman, or child of Iraq.

  1. Wow . . . I’d be a refugee. There’s also a map floating around out there (and definitely over at StrangeMaps) which shows the GDPs of the fifty states as they roughly equate to the GDPs of other nations. California has about the same economic power as France, while the two states in which I’ve made my residence—Alabama and Oregon—are congruent with Iran and Israel, respectively.
